Kathryn Rose
Composer
Kathryn Rose was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and studied music from the age of four. In London she studied horn with Stephen Stirling at Trinity College of Music. Kathryn is organist at St Andrew’s Leytonstone, where several of her works for smaller choirs have been sung; other churches that have used her music include St John’s Edinburgh, St Mary’s Addington, St Paul’s Woldingham and St Chad’s, Chadwell Heath. In 2014 her work was selected for inclusion in the songbook Sing For Our Planet. Kathryn has a keen interest in liturgy and accessibility.
