Composer

Matthew Power read Music at the University of London. He studied Composition with Antonín Tučapský at Trinity College of Music, winning the conservatoire’s composition and improvisation competitions and an accompaniment scholarship. His early career as an editor and writer produced feature articles for publications including Gramophone, Classical Music, The Strad, International Piano and The American Record Guide. He is the Organ and New Music editor at Choir & Organ magazine. Returning to his musical roots, his growing work as a composer focuses on choral music and art song.
